These artworks were commissioned by Arwana Artisan Bakehouse in Riyadh, KSA for their flagship location. For this series I wanted to take a look at the different unique textures of bread, focusing on the little air pockets and the surrounding scaffolding structures inside of dough that support the delicious architecture that is bread. Each individual artwork explores a different type of bread which creates a unique mosaic of many different air bubbles in the process of its creation. Different ingredients, climates, fermentation periods, and the amount of fat is in incorporated changes the overall texture, flavor, and density of the bread and each artwork explores a different category of bread.
